Does anyone still remember using slide rule? In 1970 I bought my first slide rule made in China that costed about 6 dollars, which can puchased 2 BBQ ducks, from a Chinese Art store in Vancouver. This was the lowest price and its length is around
5 inches; it doesn't slide very smooth either. I used it for calculation in chemisry and physics. This slide rule made me very nervous during examination because the instructor demanded 3 significant figure in accuracy. It was very hard to interpret it because the line space is narrow as it is one half in size of other ones.
