We live in a real world, there are always winners and there are always losers. Some are born winners and some work hard to become winners. Equally, some are born losers and someone do nothing and remain losers.
In principle, a society should develop schemes and programs to help people to become winners. but we all know it is impossible to make everyone a winner.
莘莘學子可以點選擇? Work hard to achieve good enoough results to get into a good university law.

其實留在香港升學亦無什麼出路可供選擇：什麼毅進、展翅及副學士等政府推行的升學計劃，竟然得不到特區政府承認，其他私人機構亦不承認，令花時間考取的証書如同廢紙！叫莘莘學子可以點選擇？

最近中國教育部不點名批評加拿大部份私立專上學院，有些以與美國某大學合作為名，開設一些所謂學位課程，學生可在年半修畢整個課程，而獲頒授學位証書，原來卻不獲加拿大教育局承認，花錢花時間後才發覺証書如同廢紙，中國教育部籲請學生謹慎選擇學校，免得虛耗金錢光陰。
須知讀書應循序而進，沒有速成，有很多先進國家，都會有所謂學店的出現，商人為求搵快錢，不惜到國外辦講座，以最快畢業，最豪華宿舍包裝作招攬，收取海外生，收生的基本要求就只有繳足學費及住宿費，也不論過往成績，修畢課程所取得的証書，其實就等如完成一個補習班的課程，如要升學務請先向當地教育部門查詢，及選擇一些有聲譽及有口碑的學校，勿貪快速成，很可能得不償失。

Some useful tips on further education in the UK:
* Even if you were born in the UK and a true UK citizen, you may have to pay overseas fees instead of home student fees if you were not living in the UK for 3 years prior to the year you started a degree course - however, Universities have the decretion to decide whether to charge home or overseas fees.
* Home student fees - max. 3000 pounds per years (per 2007); whereas overseas fees is around 8000+ pounds per year. The UK government is reviewing the fees structure and it is quite likely that the fees will increase significantly in the coming years.
* Subject to own spending, studying in the UK requires a budget of ~ HK$ 300,000 per year. Obviosuly, if you are from a very rich family, the sky is the limit.
* The living cost in London is usually more expensive (~ 30-50 % more) than other areas in the UK.
* It is worth noting that some UK Universities do give out scholarships to overseas students with good grades ("A levels" with 2-3 "A"s). Usually they are "lower" ranking Universities (not top tier but not necessary at the bottom) who want to attrack "quality" students.

各位師兄：
在０５年小弟曾經和另一位校友回到母校向師弟師妹們，講解本人預科時讀書心得，之後升讀大學時的情況，及有關就業的資料。該次分享會中，他們對就業的興趣不太大，反而對如何準備考取入讀大學或選科的策略等相關資料更感興趣，故我提議除了在網上分享各行各業的情況之餘亦可加入這些元素，希望能令師弟師妹們更容易面對升學或就業的困難！

現在科技發達，可以錄影各下的演辭，然後寄dvd給關校長，還有，可以用視像會議。
另外，各行各業都無任歡迎，有關升學資料都可以的， 時間由現在開始，直至到暑假為止。

As you know, PuiShing style are good for shouting and bad in speeching and questioning.
I propose to set up a forum for "PROSPECT" in this website to promote to Pui Shing student (and also green gradaute) for question and answer!! I think it would help. In addition, as it is global, getting information to study aboard would be more updated as maybe answered by overseas' PuiShing.
Finally, the record can also be retrieved and referenced by our Pui Shing anytime.
