Dear Big Nose,
Basically, both you & me are very proud of Pui Shing. We can never get rid of the status of Pui Shing boy. There is no conflict between you & me at this point. We are始終是師兄弟。 We share the similar Ideology.
However, we are minority. I know many old boys are never care of what Pui Shing is doing or even shame of Pui Shing. I am not lying you. So, I strongly deem that alumni should promote Pui Shing with celebrities as much as possible. Actually, many schools are doing the simliar thing. Let's imagine, the interview of 黃毓民 should get a great impacts rather than the interview of 劉崇達. I can say that no parents want to send their children to Pui Shing if they have another choices. But, do you want to chance this phenomenon? 所謂千里之行，始於足下。 Let's begin from Zero (but we are not zero, we have plenty of outstanding old boys)
Anyway, 師兄, you teach a lot. I get a lot while 過招 with you. Thanks a lot.

Tat,
It can be quite easy (to be proud of being a Pui Shing old boy or anything in life for that matter); that is, if you know the way...
For a start, you must understand that it must come from the heart and the mind...then you have to believe in it ... you are who you are and you look at the things you have done in your life (work, family and friends etc etc)...
Look at the things you have done that would make you proud (I am sure if you look hard enough, you would find something that you are proud of...things that you have achieved, done well, etc... it doesn't have to be BIG, like I said before, big and small are relative quality...just being a good person/citizen on its own is something you can be proud of... well, in the unlikely event that you couldn't find anything that you can be proud of, start doing something that you can be proud of tomorrow...
Once you have found things that you are proud of, then back-track a little and it is obvious that education is one of the contributory factors...then "bingo" - you know why you should be proud of being a Pui Shing old boy...
I was a street kid from a poor family, I may not be as assucessful as Richard Li, but believe me, there are lots of things I have done that I am proud of today...I may not be able to quantify it all, but I know I am what I am today, Pui Shing does have something to do with it...and therefore I am thankful being a Pui Shing old boy...
By the way, I value being a Pui Shing old boy, and I don't need to promote it! It is not about telling the world how good Pui Shing is, just from within my heart, Pui Shing provided me a piece of my history, with peace and enjoyment,that is good enough for me...
Finally, don't be too hard on yourself...relax a little and life is actually more beautiful!

Okay, but how to make other old boys proud of to be Pui Shing boy/gril? What's your means or method?
We are living in mordern society. To promote Pui Shing image, we should do some marketing or packaging works. Sense of belonging will never comes from nothing.

Make it simple, no need to create little circle.
Who are 培聖猛人? Answer: 培聖仔=培聖猛人
Regardless, everyone has a story to tell, everyone is sucessful in his own right, in different ways..
Why be selective and only report on those who are famous or successful only?
Every 培聖仔 has the same right to be heard; some might not be interested to all, but I am sure a report on a "common" 培聖仔 would bring memories to his/her peers!
A 培聖仔 is prepared to write and submit a report, we should just let him/her - exactly what we are doign right here, no limits!

Oh dear, we are not talking the same language, or to be precise, we are not applying the same numeric system to the matter.
When yo said "I will pay anything for a year book...", I took it that you want the year book so much that you would even pay people to research, write, and print the book...hence the HK$ 500K proposal..
In reality, prefer to work with real numbers, as precise as can be particularly when it comes to money... you see, cheap or expensive can be meaningless as people see values differently...
Using your example, if I may, the Wah Yan year book is considered "cheap" to me; my sons bought two copies of their year book from school - I hardly got much change from HK$ 1,000 ...
This may lead you to think I am a "rich" person...but for a guy who paid that much money for a couple of books - he is "rich" in heart for his sons but has holes in his pockets...
Believe me, when it comes to numbers, often it is better to be as precise as possible - it would give a more clear perspective ...

培聖猛人數之不盡, 卻又所知不多, 有些是具知名度的, 有些是學術了得的, 有些是體育出眾的, 也有些是為學校或校友會出錢出力的, 而更大部份是沉默待發掘的, 怎樣才算名人? 沒有客觀標準, 最好是由校友們投票選出, 又或者是每屆推舉傑出者, 人選也不太難, 相信不出幾天就有一大串名單, 然而誰當採訪人就是問題所在, 在香港每人都為生活而忙碌, 要騰出大量時間做義務工作殊不容易, 我卻有個提議, 此義務工作人人做得, 祗要選好對象, 擬好問題, 提交校友會會長審議後, 就即可進行訪問, 集液成裘, 群策群力, 定必事倍功半, 彙編必成, 校友欲成其事, 可於九九聚會時再相討.

Please don't play a joke on me. I know Wan Yan Alumni book costs around HK$150.00 I can pay double or even triple for Pui Shing one. Please go ahead.

歌王聰及大鼻師兄.
大家都是舊同學，而且十隻手指有長短，我並非想作無謂比較，但名師與及出色校友的訪問，對增加培聖仔女的歸屬感絕對有幫助。 事實上，差不多所有中學及大學的舊生會都有做類似的工作，我真希望培聖都有一本類似的刋物，幾貴我都買。無論我如何出色，或如何不濟，我始終是培聖仔，我都想培聖好。

我是80年代入學的培聖仔，當年我們的自信心很低，培聖仔就是一個負面的形容詞。我們當年的碓很不争氣，到80年代中期，每年入大學人數只有2-3位，其他課外活動都不甚出色，只靠足球隊及歌王聰的民歌隊支撑。
可是，我花了一整晚看過所有校友留言，得知我們培聖小小校園，竟然培養出那麽多名人，原來連卓伯棠都是培聖仔，真希望校友會能整理校史，以介紹眾出色的老師及校友。這樣對增加培聖仔女的歸屬感，肯定大有認幫助。
