Please read your driver. If there is no " Support multi " marking. I think that this driver cannot support double size DVD. I also have a LG driver.

My LG DVD burner(dual layer, 16x,inside computer ) can play first DVD with 7.5 G video(7 hrs) in it(10 episodes); but the second DVD cannot display its size and freezed up when it run by PowerDVD software. As I put it into DVD player(equipment) with TV, it can play. The only different between first and second DVD is the size of video in it. The second one has 8 more episodes and it has second menu link to the first menu (I watch it from TV). What 's the problem?

Your problem might be driver related. Make sure you have the correct DVD driver that support dual layers. Check the software come with your DVD writer. If not there, check their website.
Microsoft released Media Player 11. Did you try that?
Also, Microsoft just released IE7.0. The download is busy today.

Does anyone know what software has to download in order to play dual layer(9 G) dvd (tv series) in my computer? I had PowerDVD 5 and LG DVD writer. I can
play it with DVD Player with T.V., but not in the computer.
